We work with a wide network of schools across London and beyond, helping new teachers develop the knowledge, confidence and professional judgement needed to thrive in today’s classrooms.
The Subject of Education is one of the largest and most successful academic areas within the School of Mind, Body and Society. Alongside our substantial Primary and Secondary PGCE provision, we support a vibrant doctoral community, internationally recognised research activity, a successful BA Education programme, and a growing range of postgraduate courses.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and supporting our Initial Teacher Education provision during an important period of development. Working closely with an experienced and committed team, they will contribute to programme leadership, partnership development, mentor support, school visits, quality assurance and Ofsted preparation.
We are looking for someone who combines strategic leadership with a deep understanding of teaching, learning and professional development. The role would suit an experienced teacher educator who is passionate about supporting the next generation of teachers and committed to educational excellence.
